Muddymoles mountain biking in the Surrey Hills and Mole Valley

Trailquest event @ Peaslake

I got stopped a few Sunday’s back by someone asking me to promote this event and it slipped my memory until I just saw a post on Facebook about it.Trailquest MTBO (Mountain Bike Orienteering) events are often held over at Peaslake to raise money for the local school in the village over there. Given how many of us descend on the area it’s a great way to pay a little back to the community and also get to enjoy the great riding there is around there.

Pop over to Peaslake MTBO to get more info on the event but Martin also sent this over for me to publish;

Peaslake based in the heart of the Surrey Hills is a hot spot for Mountain
Bikers in the South East. Twice a year the Peaslake School Charity runs the
Trailquest event in the Spring and Autumn. The school is non government
funded and ALL proceeds generated get put back into the maintenance and
running costs of the school. The Trailquest event is an opportunity to
explore the terrain of Winterfold, Pitch Hill, Holmbury Hill and Leith Hill
and entrants are challenged to collate as many points from the checkpoints.
Format of the event allows for all skill levels and abilities and provides a
change from the regular Sunday ride. Please register at
www.peaslakemtbo.com.
