Ride Report – 16 Nov 2014 – Leaf litter louts

As we know, we’re riding in that AONB known as ‘The Slurry Hills’, and today it lived up to its name. The trails were typical of this time of year.

Remembrance day mud

After this weeks bursts of solid rain it was a relief to see a dry Sunday morning and 7 Moles drag themselves out of bed and make the effort to get up to Bocketts car park for what was to be an expedition into the Surrey Hills with mud avoidance high on the menu!

Ride Report – Wed 22nd October – A ‘Wet and Dry’ night ride

The trails were dry, but it was definitely ‘a wet ride’ as we ended up in The Anchor for a few beers. A good turn-out for a Wednesday evening, with seven of us at the start to watch Jonesy faffing about with yet another flat, he’ll soon learn and go tubeless.

Ride report: Sunday 28 September – bit of an epic

Phew, that was a big one! 32 miles for a Sunday ride was a pretty decent effort, and had a few of us flagging by the end of the ride. I said on the forum Saturday night I thought it was a tad ambitious, but nothing ventured, nothing gained eh?!

Goody Goody yum yum!

Ride report: Sunday 17 August – North Downs

North Downs. Doesn’t sound like much really, does it? Yet somehow today we managed to squeeze in a variety of freshly uncovered trails, about 28 miles and 2800 feet of climbing (and, obviously, descending!). All in all quite a lot packed into a ride which never took us further than Shere then.
