Charity appeal – Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research

Posted by DaveC | September 8, 2012 | 2 comments so far

There’s quite a few visits to these pages each month and I’d like to ask something small of you all.

cancer research

Jill, one of our FeMole riders, is taking to her walking shoes to do the Shine Marathon. The Shine Marathon is a night time marathon walk. That’s right, Jill is walking 26 miles around London to raise money for cancer research. You can read a bit about her story on Jill’s Just Giving page although many of our riders will already know why Jill is doing this.

So, Jill’s target is £500, there are a lot more than 500 visits on this site every month so I’d ask you to donate £1 (of course more if you can, tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer and make your donation count for even more).

The sad truth is that we’ll all be touched by cancer one way or another in our lives so please do what you can.

Many thanks,
MuddyDave

PS, Here is the link to the donation page again
