Bike Shows
Eurobike opens today, 4 September for the next three days in Friedrichshafen, Germany. It’s the key bike show for Europe and falls slap bang with the release of most manufacturers 2009 model launches so it’ll be interesting to see what pops up on the interwebs. I’ll keep you posted if I see anything…
Closer to home, it’s not too long until the Cycle Show at Earls Court which runs from 9—12 of October where we get our chance to see what’s happening with next year’s bikes. And let’s not forget the ‘fashion show’ which is always a highlight.
It’s been good value in the past and a group of us will make the annual consumers pilgrimage to find out what Dave will buy next year on the Friday (9th). I fancy the idea of a couple of beers and a bite to eat after we’ve had our fill in the halls too.
I’m going to take a camera as I’ve done previously (though not the SLR I think) and maybe I can persuade Dave to shoot some footage with his helmet cam. Not with it on his crash helmet of course, although that would give a unique perspective on the event. If it’s anything like some of his Welsh MTB footage, there’ll be a lot of starting at the ceiling…
If anyone fancies meeting up with us on the day, let us know and we’ll see if we can rendezvous.
