12 Moles, with new David, avoided the rain on the classic Leith Hill circuit with Windy Willows and tea at the tower. 2 cakes for Chrissy and 25 miles for all.

Perhaps I ought to explain they I set JR the challenge of a ride report in 160 characters which he appears to have done (although I’ve taken it on e trust!). The look on Ginny’s face is priceless!

Proper job JR and a prize for banging in a quick ride report!

Enjoyed the Classic Moles Leith ride, just like back in the old days when 12 riders was a regular turnout on a Sunday morning.
No one died or got bent and no real mechanicals, apart from some cameo ones from LBM, so all in all a good mornings work” 🙂

“I’m inclined to let this one pass” would be a good caption…

Another week, another missed ride! Had a BBQ on Saturday night, no alcohol at all, but just very, very tired in the morning. I even had my gear ready to go.

Surely the caption for the photo should be ’12 characters or less’??

Nice one Matt. I think we should have a competition for the best caption – some very good entries so far.

With DDub’s suggestion you had to be there to appreciate it, although on second thoughts anybody who knows Dave could appreciate it without being there – Ginny’s face says it all.

… enjoyed the Leith ride. Good variety and in good company. And no need to say ‘cheese’ anymore for pics. Timing is everything!!
